Registration fees breakdown.
Registration fee payments are credit card ONLY. Registration fees cannot be refunded or transferred to future years or other teams.
The Team Coach must first register themself to create the team for members to join during the registration process. Registration fees are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another team or the following year. The 2025 flat-rate fee includes the team's advancement to the World Championship, as qualified (RANGER+).
Here's what you need to know.
"Responsible Adult"
The Team Coach is the lead mentor for the team - or the "Responsible Adult" that is the main point of contact. The Team Coach should be available to answer any and all emails that may come from competition coordinators. Except for extremely rare cases with EXPLORER class teams, the Lead Mentor should NOT be an active student team participant. Additional Mentors 18+ must register themselves under the Additional Mentors link to complete participation waivers.
Student Registration Process
All participating students MUST have registration completed and all waivers signed by the registration deadline to participate. If you have students without internet access, print the appropriate waiver pages, send to the student's parent/guardian to complete. Once you have received the completed, signed copies, it is the Team Coaches responsibility to complete the student's registration process in Active on behalf of the parent/guardian without internet access.
Team Creation
Each competition event offers class selections (SCOUT, NAVIGATOR, RANGER, PIONEER, and EXPLORER). You will need to select the appropriate event, competition class, and pay the team registration fee associated with the Team Coach tuition. Be sure to send an email inviting your team members to join by sharing the student link, the team name, and optional password.
Titled the "Team Captain"
Please identify a participating student to serve as the "Company CEO" on your team, titled Team Captain on the group listing. Notify your Competition Coordinator to update this information if you are unable to access group settings. You may also request updated team rosters so you are aware of who has completed the process.
