What was the most celebrated/happiest/best/epic moment of success making your ROV?

After 2 years of hard work and persistence, we finally won the chance to compete in the world championship. The moment when the judges announced this news was the best!

What was your most memorable challenge/complete fail in building your ROV?

The most memorable challenge while building our ROV was the time when we completed the first trial task run of our micro ROV. First, we just connected the micro ROV to our main ROV and launched it underwater and it did successfully went through the pipe. But the task requires that the micro ROV should be reattached to the main ROV after the previous task. So as we had an electromagnet tool, the micro ROV’s motor accidentally attached onto that tool. This finally come out of the idea of building the micro ROV mount which has become one of the special tools of our ROV!

What "theme" – the scientific or physical problem to be addressed with an ROV task – would you most like to see included in future competition missions?

What innovation do you think would completely change how ROVs solve problems in the future?

A new model of motors that can resist water current even better in order to help the ROVs to have a better efficiency in doing missions.

If you could swap ROVs with any team – past or present – what team would it be?
