MATE Floats! Satellite Challenge Information Session
MARCH 22 MATE FLOATS! Webinar Archive is here!
Join University of Washington (UW) float engineers on Monday, March 22nd at 11am PST for an information session on the 2021 MATE Floats! Satellite Challenge!
UW float engineers Rick Rupan,* Andrew Meyer, and Greg Brusseau – along with UW undergrad Daelyn Bergsman – will showcase both a commercial GO-BGC float and the float that Daelyn and his fellow students built as a “proof of concept” for the MATE Floats! Satellite Challenge. But first, they will take us on a tour of the UW School of Oceanography facility, including the test tank where the MATE Floats! Satellite Challenge will take place.
Following the tour and float demonstration, they will answer your specific, technical (and other) questions about the MATE Floats! Satellite Challenge.
No registration is required: this is being presented as a Zoom Webinar – and also steamed to our Facebook page!
See you on March 22nd!
*You may recognize Rick as a MATE Pacific Northwest Regional Coordinator and MATE World Championship livestream broadcast play-by-play announcer!
